Bryant Furnace, Coil, and Condenser Installation

At Notturno Home Services, we recently installed a new Bryant furnace, evaporator coil, and condenser for a satisfied customer.

The process began with disconnecting the power to the existing furnace and removing all electrical connections. We also disconnected the return and supply ducts, as well as the gas piping, and removed the old furnace and exhaust pipe. After cutting a return hole in the new furnace, we installed the evaporator coil, mounted the furnace on feet, and positioned it in place. The supply and return ducts were reconnected, and all connections were properly sealed, including the gas piping, exhaust, and drain lines for the evaporator coil.

We installed a new condensate pump and ran a drain tube into the laundry chute for proper drainage. The condenser pad was leveled and dressed with rocks, and the new condenser was mounted. After drilling a hole for the lime set and running the line set from the outdoor unit to the indoor unit, we brazed the connections, installed a filter drier on the liquid line, and pressure-tested the system at 350 psi to ensure there were no leaks. The system was vacuumed down to 500 microns, and the factory charge was released into the system.

Due to cold weather, we were unable to properly tune the AC but will have a technician return for the startup in the spring.

Additionally, we replaced the hot water tank flue pipe from 3” to 4”. Our electrician, Sean Consoletti, wired both units, the thermostat, and a hardwired CO detector for safety.

Finally, we started the furnace, verified its operation, and confirmed that the unit is working properly at this time.
